Rosé claims that the song “On The Ground” is about a girl who strives to reach the top only to discover that all she actually needs to do is keep her feet firmly planted.

The song’s lyrics are about a girl who strives to achieve her goals in order to prove to the world that there is no decline. She realized that all she really needed was to be on the ground after she had reached the summit.

“I talked to someone the other day and they were like, ‘I’m surprised you’re coming out with a song like this because I expected you to come out with a song that’s more like, related to love,'” she said when she was asked why she chose to write a song that was more about purpose than romance. However, I believe it to be a very powerful song, and I’m just eager for my followers to hear it and benefit from it.
