Being one of the most prestigious and recognized film festivals worldwide, the Cannes film festival provides some incredible movie options for the audience. Its exclusivity and authenticity with the cinema selection make it a hub for people interested in the art and influence of the movies.

Like every year, in 2022 too, the Cannes film festival gave us some amazing movies to watch. Not only are these top-notch in the storyline but also in other aspects like acting, production, direction, and more.

Here are some movies from Cannes 2022 film festival that you can watch for  a happening weekend:

Aftersun

In the film Aftersun, a father-daughter relationship is depicted. Sophie, the daughter, remembers the lovely summer vacation she and her father (Calum) took when she was 11 years old and visited a beach resort. As Sophie approaches adulthood, she tries to assimilate her father’s memories and fill the void with nostalgic tales that are both painful and sweet.

A remarkable depiction of generational depression may be seen in the film. The touching plot and, of course, the flawless acting of the two leads make it worth watching as well. Keep those tissues close by because you might need one toward the end of the movie.
